Obamacare Repeal Not Just For Show

Last week, the US Senate approved a measure to repeal significant portions of the Affordable Care Act by a 52-47 vote. The Legislation will likely pass the Republican-controlled House as well, but it wont get much further. President Obama has unsurprisingly vowed to veto the measure.

So what's the point of passing a repeal with little chance of overriding a presidential veto? Politico's Jennifer Haberkorn says it's not just for show. Republican law makers are demonstrating which aspects of the health care law could be repealed under a GOP president in 2017 while avoiding a Democratic filibuster.
