More and more people across the Unites States are dying from heroin. A recent government report says overdose deaths from the drug doubled in the U.S. during a recent three-year period.
That upward trend is continuing to rise in places like North Carolina, where 38 people died from heroin overdoses in 2010. Last year, that figure soared to 183.
