One Weight-Loss Solution Fits All? Nope.

Why do some people lose weight on a certain diet but others lose hardly anything? 

For some researchers, that question is informing how they tailor fitness and weight-loss programs for each individual. 

The New York Times' Gina Kolata reports:

The problem, researchers say, is that obesity and its precursor — being overweight — are not one disease but instead, like cancer, they are many.
